Yeah, but nobody is maintaining it. It works a lot better when the first post in the thread has all the players organized. Instead of a few players in post 7, a few in post 8, a few in post 12, etc. (Maybe I'm the only one who cares though)

In my case it was after, but well after, not immediately upon the switch. I'm not really sure why it's blocked at work - they block nothing else. I think it may be a DNS situation.

To be honest, I'm kind of surprised by this whole thread. I mean, I always just assumed people were content with this being a very low-key message board for regulars. If you want a lot more traffic and have higher aspirations, you need to get a new name, improve the look, and, most importantly, have a ton more content. I don't love everything about Football Guys, but they've definitely done it right in terms of offering an enormous amount (too much, in my opinion) of content. At the very least, I've always thought that the 2K_ threads should be rolled out in a certain order by the staff...

Another thing that might help is to eliminate some of the sub-forums. The traffic is light enough that having the asst gm threads here might spark a bit more discussion and encourage more lurkers to post. I'd put the prospect posts here as well.

I've merged the Assistant GM forums into the main Baseball/Football forums, and merged the Prospect forum in as well.

I merged the Basketball & Hockey threads, and merged the Cards/Collections into the Sports Bar.

You may notice the forum names have also changed -- Fantasy MLB to Baseball; Fantasy NFL to Football.

I've also annointed DJBeasties & JonCarlos as the Baseball forum moderators.

Any other thoughts?

I don't think it is about an absurd amount of traffic so much as it is about getting more people involved in the conversation. The more opinions received the more likely we are to hit on the truth we're looking to find on players and their situations.

I would still like to see the Prospect forum be seperate. It is a valuable tool that can easily get lost in the shuffle.

The rest do not seem to be an issue.

Unfortunately it is done and cannot be changed back.
