can always use PROSPECT in the post title or take advantage of the tagging feature in the advanced posting mode

You'll now notice in the Calendar/Events section -- listed by the birthdays-- various notable events, dates and holidays.

Fair enough. I do think rolling out the 2K13 threads in some sort of predetermined order (maybe 5-10 a week starting on Monday) would be a huge improvement and much more likely to generate conversation than the random-no-rhyme-or-reason way it's done now.

I have noticed over the last two or three years that it continues to have less and less discussion. You go to other forums and they are hair-splitting ad naseum on players and here it's a ghost town.

I always try to get the 2K13 threads going each year as I really love breaking stuff down but I'm not sure why a fantasy baseball MB spends all of its time repeatedly fighting over religion, politics, evolution, etc. I used to come here because it was loaded with so many smart people who really helped push me to new levels. I like to try to give back where I can but I don't understand what is going wrong. Maybe it's just early and maybe it's just this or that, but I feel like we've said that all before.

Please forgive my little sidebar rant here but I just hope all of you smart and opinionated contributors will spend some time helping building out this forum and providing your analysis (or dare I say it: fight over something here more frequently)
Speaking for myself, I don't really contribute to the baseball side of things because there are people on the baseball side of things that are so much smarter than I am. Haha.

              In no particular order...

              - it's blocked at work
              - I'm a Twitter junkie
              - I'm 34 now and don't have the time to spend on fantasy baseball as I once did

                Very nice!

I know I don't post nearly as much as I used to. Exact same issues as everyone else. I also find that I'll read posts for an hour and don't have a ton of stuff to add. The people that post here are the most informed fantasy baseball group you'll find on the net. That can also be intimidating to some. I really think a snazy front page with some good articles would do wonders for attracting people to spend more time on the site. Tons of great info can be found within the forum but people are either lazy or don't have time these days.

That's a very interesting post, and to whatever extent it's true, that's something we need to counteract if we can. None of us, no matter how long we've posted, learn anything just from posting our own opinion.

Collectively we have a very informed group. However, when fewer are posting we're not as helpful. People posting their thoughts, even (maybe especially) when they are wrong allows the group as a whole to get smarter.

Yep, completely agree. No one should feel that they can't add anything, or that someone will be snarky if the info isn't top-notch. This isn't FBGs! Please post if you have a thought on the topic!

I'm not clear as to what is needed here.

played around this morning and updated the forum logo. Meanwhile, those dildos who owned the original domain re-upped it even though they haven't done anything with it in over 2 years. Asswipes
