Wow, that dude must have one hell of an agent. I would've figured him for nothing more than a one year deal at a modest price (maybe 1 year / $7M or something).


Edit: I guess he did rebuild his value with the Royals after his disastrous stint in Colorado. I suppose you could do worse. He's a solid innings eater, if a little more than a little inconsistent.

Yeah, the Royals roster isn't exactly full of guys who can even be innings-eaters at the moment.

So, I would guess that puts Morse at first base. Harper to one of the corners. It should be a good move for the defense anyway. Not certain what that means for the Twins off the top of my head.
