    And I can't emphasize enough that a short list will do wonders for speeding this thing along. If you're 2 or 3 picks away, and you know that you won't/can't check in for a while just send a list to someone, it's not that hard. And yes, I know that we're still weeks away from the start of the season, but we also still have 12 rounds to go in this draft. And at this pace, we'll probably end up in a dead heat. That's my bitch for the day, tune in tomorrow for a new rant...

          I have nothing from him.

          Yesterday was like scratching nail on a chalk board then when it comes to me when I am at the 2nd job. Got the forum up on my phone then forgot about it for almost an hour. Hated having that happen.
          Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

            yawn .....this draft is going as slowly as my trade negotiations with Hornsby usually do.

                        Man I was really hoping that I'd be able to snag Brantley with this pick, but I guess that wasn't even close to happening.

                        Sorry for the slight delay, I was around all morning but nobody picked until I left for lunch.

                        I thought the time zone thing was 9-9 EST (on other boards it is in the poster's time zone but I don't think we do that here)

                          You should apologize to me for taking the #1 pitcher on my list. I guess it serves me right for changing from taking a pitcher this round to grabbing a hitter. It still sucks!

                            FYI, Dan Johnson does not qualify at 1B (13 games last year), so he's a DH only. Not sure if that makes him an illegal pick for ITC.

                              His roster is up to date and his UT is open, so it's valid. Whether we would allow a change based on an incorrect understanding of eligibility, I can't say.

                                Pretty much every time I have switched between a hitter and a pitcher (or vice versa) I have gotten burned. It seems like there is still not enough pitching getting picked. I have gone pitcher the last 3 rounds. Maybe that's not smart.
