Yeah, I'm a lot more inclined to believe that triple slash, but I think he ends up with more like 25-30 steals and 2-3 HR. I do think he gets a significant chunk of the PT in CF, but does a lot of his hitting in the 9 hole. I think the Royals will let him run but I don't think the HRs translate as a rookie. He could post one of the worst RBI/AB ratios we've seen in a long time.

No...he did what he had to do, in spades. However, ST stats mean next to nothing when the bell rings for real. It took Melky 5 years to have that breakout, let's see what Cain can do before deciding that he's a 20-40 man...

Melky was 18 HR and 20 SB last year. I am not sure where the 20-40 comes in. I was thinking more the 20 point BA spike and 650 PA, leading to 90+ R, plus about 10 bombs and 30 SB.
