What’s the consensus on the outlook for Shane the rest of the year? I have a chance to acquire him but I can’t decide if it’s worth the risk.

Hopefully not at full price - velo is down, Ks are down, getting by with more smoke and mirrors than normal. I dont think the .228 babip holds.
Still a guy I'd take on my staff but probably not for the price I'd have to pay to get him. -

I'm concerned about Bieber velo also. I offered him straight for Tork and was rejected flat out with no counter. The offer was about 3 weeks ago. Hell, if I had Tork I would have turn it down also.Comment

Agreed about corncerns re: Bieber. However, also strongly disagree that Darvish is anything approaching the #2 pitcher. Both are showing troubling signs. Darvish has generally been far overrated, imo. I think I'd rather have Bieber but I guess it's pretty close.More American children die by gunfire in a year than on-duty police officers and active duty military.Comment
