Other owners aren’t limited re:closers they can take...so you probably have several rounds before you need to go after Hudson or any of the other RPs. Also, where does Gray rank on the list of available SPs in your league?

Kendrick seems like the obvious choice, at MI...followed by Longoria at CI.

I'd push all the chips on hitting right now, and take Longoria also. My SPs of preference after that are PLopez/Cueto/Hamels. Though after PLopez, I'd seriously consider looking hard at high K/good ratio MRs on your list, unless you have news on Hamels shoulder that I don't.

yeah, I was leaning that way - I think I'd have among the best INF in the league (2 more picks left ahead of me)
Rizzo, Suarez, Albies, DeJong, Kendrick maybe Longoria.

LOL...I understand your perspective. In all seriousness, I like the upside of the top three SPs in Miami's rotation. I definitely like PLopez's upside when compared to Judge Jude's other options, which involve:

A) Coming off deal with Satan or Dormammu. That's the only possible explanation for Samardzjia's year.
B) Coming off injury and old - Cueto and Arrieta.
C) Reliable but bad - Leake or Mahle.

Cueto has the advantage of a longer layoff and potentially building more arm strength before start of season, so I can see a flyer on him, but not before PLopez.

HQ has my 5 P so far at 3.68 and 1.170, both of which would have (barely) won my league last year.

don't need to WIN the categories, so can absorb more SP mediocrity leavened by some nice RP innings.

yes, Mikolas got bad news in mid-February and good news a week or so ago.

he'll be going with the second pick of Round 16 tomorrow.
worked out pretty good - one owner picked 13 hitters in 13 rounds, then took a pitcher in the next round (and the next).

so close to perfection..... meanwhile he'll suck plenty with his staff anyway

UPDATE: well, I've read about those "runs" that occur in drafts - how about 10 of the 12 Round 15 picks being pitchers?
