not exactly lighting up the gun. Havent seen him hit 90 yet.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

wow, I have never seen a runner miss home plate by that much there.
1st and 2nd, 2 out, Bellinger doesn't get to a looper in time but makes a strong throw to beat the runner.
Grandal can't handle the throw, though.
and yes, the runner missed home plate. doesn't look like the home plate ump signaled anything - OOPS, he screwed the pooch, too, and called "Safe" late and half-heartedly.

but the Phils caught the Dodgers napping, too, so the run counts.

that's an "earned" run for Kershaw after the runner, the catcher, and the ump all screw up

Kershaw whiffs the side in the 5th, trails 1-0 and has thrown 62 pitches

now, did the home plate ump call strikes there like Leslie Nielsen in that inning?
he did. maybe he got a text that he cheated Kershaw out of a run earlier

In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

His back tightened up and now he's getting another MRI.

I have the strangest team ever. in 2nd place, and I feel like I need Kershaw desperately.
raw stats don't really back it up. still, he has carried me to 2 pennants in the last 3 years, and I want him back for a 3rd.

Back injuries....ugh, they're often a career killer. I fear Kershaw's following that path.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Kershaw was very down on this. He stated not his shoulder but also stated has no idea how long the back will heal. As a person who also had a back for years I can say it really weird. You can feel completely great and then boom your back is out and depending on how severe it is it can be weeks or months before it seems normal. I would expect DL trip with the return date indefinite.

On the bright side he frees up alot of cap space. Can't wait until he is "back".
