I guess I already know the answer to this, but as the dust settled, and with all the injuries out there in various OFs, I'm surprised Melky Cabrera, Mark Reynolds, and Jose Bautista (in that order) did not get a shot anywhere. Is it now safe to cut bait in the idea of any of these guys playing this year?

barring a huge rash of injuries hitting a given team I'd vote yes (at this point I'd have to be in a reaalllllllyyyyyy deep league to have any of those guys stashed away)It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

Now he can't be bid until he signs with a team.
