He has shown the ability to hit over .300 in the minors. He is only 24. I have no doubt he will get this figured out.

I've been touting Soler getting an opportunity to succeed for the last couple of weeks. He seems totally off most people's radar, but I will be watching him this spring. He is a very low risk ($1 player, last round pick) guy with significant upside. If he fails, and he may very well fail, it won't be for lack of a chance to succeed. KC wants to give him a chance to show fans he wasn't a useless get for Davis. Any success he has provides some vindication for management, so I think they legit want to give him 500 ABs, unless he totally tanks.

Bonifacio is the safer pick, but will cost more to get, and he has less upside.

For some reason I couldn't explain, I heard Span is to get most of his at-bats from DH.
