I can't find info on the velocity drop. I wonder if it was throughout, or just late in the inning. RPs are not conditioned to throw as many pitches as he did last night. His slider wasn't working at all, but they left him out there for 37 pitches. I've seen a pitch count that high mess up a reliever before. I'm more worried about that than any velocity issues.
