    • The Nationals have agreed to sign Adam Lind once he passes a physical for a reported $1M in 2017 and a team option in 2018. Nice deal for the Nats.

      • Per ESPN (Jerry Crasnick) the Royals have agreed to a two-year deal with Travis Wood.

It's supposedly a two-year, $12M deal, similar to the one agreed upon last week with Jason Hammel.

Two very nice moves for the Royals when their backs were up against the wall...not game changers, but solid innings eaters.

                • The Nationals have agreed to terms with Matt Wieters, pending a physical.

If signed, the Nats will have to cut someone from their 40-man roster, as Adam Lind filled the 40th spot last week.

If Valencia is full-time, he could be a big bargain in AL-only leagues. Look at his last two years, and he hits RHPs just fine now.
