What are you getting back? And the Twins are already overstocked with questionable hitting and fielding corner OF/DH types who need to play, they're not dealing for another one. Angels have nothing to trade, and the A's are also filled with question marks, who they need to play to see if they have anything to add, why give up something to add another misfit toy?

It's a lot easier to say that a team should do something that it is to actually accomplish the task.

Find them a landing spot for a guy who can't field and hasn't had more than a cup of coffee in the majors...but make sure that it's a deal that will benefit Arizona, since they can't do one of those themselves.

And whether Pollock is back in 3-4-5 months or not at all isn't relevant to O'Brian's situation, other than the fact that even injured, he's in the way of your fellow Peter.
I'm a bit confused... you are saying he is blocked in Arizona with no chance to play, but you are mocking someone who says they should trade him ? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding what you are saying.

If O'Brien isn't valuable enough to get to the bigs for Arizona after raking in AAA for a year + why in the world would it take much to get OBrien from Arizona and why wouldn't a team want to give the kid a shot, especially in the AL where he could DH or in the corner OF where he could at least platoon?

And if you're taking the side that the Backs aren't ineptly run then we prolly have nothing further to discuss.

Not mocking anyone at all...just pointing out it isn't as easy to do something as it is to say/wish it to happen for the benefit of you as an owner or a fan.

Another homer today. 8 on the year with a 1.103 OPS. And that is with just 1 walk! If could have a little patience it would be even more outrageous.

Wishing O'Brien had kept his catcher eligibility, I could use it. Well that, and that he'd get called up!

27:1 K/BB ratio. Until that improves, I don't think he's coming up. I can't see a rookie with that type of impatience coming up and making an impact.

If you're scoring at home, O'Brien was recalled on Friday and demoted on Saturday.

Pretty stupid move on behalf of the DBacks. Play him or don't play him, but jerking him around can't be good. Build his value and use him or trade him.
