  • Man, I do have to say that I was wrong, wrong, wrong about this kid. What he's doing is pretty amazing, even in Colorado...kudos to his believers.

    • yeah, he's a guy who was going to be in danger of a fall if he didn't make adjustments pronto.
uh, .304 last 31 days fully supported by .307 xBA in that span.
not a huge sample size, but seems like he plugged some holes to where pitchers will have to hope to find a new flaw.

      • I still own him in my shallow league. Where I traded him, it was for King Felix and had Aledmys Diaz as a consolation prize.

Another one today #27. As long as he keeps the K's within reason he will be close to a .265 to.270 hitter with awesome power for any position, but especially SS.

          • The NL rookie home run record is 38 and within reach for Story. Frank Robinson did it in 1956 and Wally Berger did it in 1930. Mark McGwire set the AL/MLB record with 49 in 1987.

New NL record for rookie SS. The MLB rookie SS record is 30 by Nomar Garciaparra. That seems likely by the trade deadline.

A-Rod hit 36 his first full season, but he was not a rookie.

And that was probably before the juice.
