  • so i called the mspca on a co-worker

and this guy is a good friend and he was saying that if he can't find a home for his cat he was gonna let him go in a park. i even get bags of weed from him but i told him if he does it i'll have to turn him in (for the cat thing). i don't really want a (male) cat right now, so i was playing hardball and hoping he'd find another solution. also there's another female co-worker who did the same thing a year ago. of course these cats always find their way back home no matter how far you dump them. she eventually put it down from either a urinary infection or kidney stones. so this was a message to her too.

you know and i just got into it with my boss last night over a few bad reviews and favoritism that i'd been stewing about; for a long time, years. (i used to be a good employee) it was sorta nasty. the kind of ppl that could probably kill me with one punch. to his credit he handled it really well. like another co-worker which is essentially his sidekick now said years ago to another co-worker, im gonna get my gun and comeback and shoot you. so i was thinking about blackmailing him. except my boss is really a good liar. and i have a really bad immediate bullshit detector. so he's like george from seinfeld..it's not a lie if you believe it. so i gave up and made peace. and i know.. you guys are probably sayin, well nully we know your faults. and you can extrapolate that in your perception in my workplace. and if you can, kudos to you. perhaps i can learn from it. it's become total psychology finally understanding these ppl. half of them believe the government is out to get them and spraying the skies.

anyways, so my friend came in and said he dumped the cat. i called him a scumbag and piece of shit, and to his credit, he handled it well. then i got to the time clock and turned around, went back and called the mspca. of course the cruelty officer wasn't in yet and i couldn't leave a message. and it really would've looked bad having the police show up, escorted thru the building. bad for him, bad for me, bad for the department, bad for the company. then he told me the cat came back and he has it. so i told him bring it back in a few days and i'll take it. which we agreed upon. ..problem for me is im a hoarder. and to tell you the truth, there really is no such thing as a hoarder, we're just fucking lazy. so i need a few days to clean. could use more time but i don't have it.

you know the funny thing is, a lot of things cause me to lose confidence. cause me to worry and second guess. my boss situation. that was worrisome. but with animals, it's different. i knew 100% what i should do and never worried. i guess that means thats all i got going for me...which is nice.

I don't know what to say about the work situation. But if he feels like he has to go to such lengths to get rid of the cat, is it wise to bring it into your house (that's assuming you already have a cat). Why does he want rid of it? Do you still have a cat? Bringing a male problem cat into your house will cause massive tension with the animals already there. Is it neutered?

i'll be fine. he wants to get rid of it because he's a coke addict that just moved to a small apartment from a house. his wife got in an accident a year or so ago and is waiting on a big settlement and the cat doesn't fit their lifestyle anymore after they get it and move to florida. not sure if the cat is neutered or not but thats a good point. ..6 years ago i recommended he get the cat. and everything was great. he had a small dog too. i used to buy his pets presents when i got weed from him. chew things for his little dog, scratch things for his cat. it's was nice, made me feel special too. like when you buy drugs but make gestures towards the family that seem important to him.

the dog developed a leaky heart valve at 10 years old. he put it down. in my medical opinion, i think he could've drained the lungs and put it on blood thinners and blood pressure meds, but thats a different story. but his financial situation wasn't my business. i would've done it just to see. but then sometimes, i think i should've been a doctor.

his cat probably isn't neutered. and thats probably why male cats get such a bad rep. those hormones are crazy. that cat up the street i made friends witch is totally crazy, but human males seem to pride themselves on it. which is misled. i don't have a cat right now. and this wasn't the plan. if he's not neutered i definitely will have him neutered. .. i really don't want a male cat tho, but thats not important. i'll have to adapt. the cat up the street will definitely attack him. but you never know. i may be able to work wonders.

i'd really like to move and buy a house. i'd like to get a pig too. i'd like to see how cats would get a long with a pig. both intelligent creatures. i'd like to fuck with their minds. but female cats are a lot smarter and manageable than males.

you know the weird thing is, his cat was really an indoor cat. which makes it even more crueler. but after he dumped him, the thing showed up with 2 other cats guiding him. healthy ones too, not strays. like wingmen helping him find his way home. im not kidding either. like they were like, wow you got dumped that sucks, we'll help you.

I'm a male cat convert. I had 4 females before I got my first male and I wouldn't go back... (once you go boy you'll never go... I don't know) Definitely get him neutered. boy cats come with so much less attitude. They get along well with other cats, are less bitchy in general.
I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert...

except when you get a male, that has a female baby in the wild with a stray, that baby survives and follows him home one day and hides underneath your deck. after a week he leads her out and you coax her with his help into your house. and she's forever a kitten. no matter how old she gets. and he's always her father.

you always wonder what happened to the rest of the littler. and she carries this survivor mentality her whole life. but you never know what happened. how she followed her father home.. to your heart.

I agree with that up to a point, though non-neutered Tom's can be a nightmare. That said, I've only ever had single females, so their lack of inter-feline sociability hasn't really mattered to me ... plus they can have more personality that neutered males, which can end up a bit docile.

If I ever got a cat again, I would think about 2 brothers.

Will probably never get a dog, although I really like other peoples dogs. Had a nightmare experience when left with my sisters dog for 4 days last week. Pissed over my kitchen all day long, and shit everywhere except the newspaper I put down for it to shit on ... and it was crapping 4 times per day. I spent 4 days cleaning up shit and piss, and got no doggy friend bonus because this dog is just weird.

My ex's family had a cat and a dog ... they were an amusing pair.
