Mochi Ice cream

I took some customers out for dinner last night. The waitress asked if we wanted desert. I said I was too full, but what would desert look like in this fine establishment? She said we only offer one desert; Mochi Ice cream. She said it was ice cream balls wrapped in sticky rice. Ummm...no thank you. She said it is really good. And it was.

None of us ever had it before. It was very interesting and surprisingly good.

Anyone else ever have it?

yes I've had it, it is a classic japanese desert, but not my favorite....
