Pulp Fiction - Final Scene in Diner.

I would have liked a clip that started a bit before this but I've got work to do...

      Err... NSFW (language) of course.

I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert...

well, I'll have to make it two for Tarantino.

Kill Bill2: trailer fight scene/eye pluck

        It's perfection.

ps - I'm blocked from youtube at work, best I can do for now are pics.

It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

still gives me goosebumps everytime they drop into the trench.....Gold Leader, Porkins, "Negative, Negative, it didn't go in, it just impacted on the Surface", "Use the Force Luke", "I Can't Shake Him"......it has got it all

Closing out Pulp Fiction ... apparently the Led Zeppelin of movie scene drafts ... hard choice between "Royale With Cheese", "Adrenaline Shot", "Yee ha Cowboy", "Mia and Vincent $5 Milk Shake Conversation", "Mia and Vincent Dance", "I just shot Marvin in the Face", "I'm Sending The Wolf?" (actually cancel that ... any scene with Quentin acting should not be counted ... can we have a ruling on that?) ... etc. etc. etc.

                But I'll opt for ...

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean - neither more nor less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things."
"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master - that's all."

                    1.08 - A-B-C - "Always Be Closing" - Glengarry Glen Ross

When I think of one-scene performances, this is pretty much the pinnacle. It's an often quoted one, and we quote it with a lot of relish, almost as if it's kind of funny. And it is, in a sick, morbid way. Of course, Glengarry was a great play (and I just saw it with Pacino in the Jack Lemmon role), but this scene isn't in the play - only the movie. Alec Baldwin is really menacing, and it really showed off how he'd turn into a stellar supporting actor. And it contains what I consider to be the harshest movie put-down in history: "You see this watch? See this watch? This watch cost more than your car. See, 'cause that's who I am, and you're nothing."

1.09 Saving Private Ryan (1998) - Omaha Beach

5 minutes, ha! This scene alone should have earned Spielberg best pic and the fact he lost out of Shakespeare In Love was laughable.

If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

1.11 The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly - The Cemetery Scene/Shootout

Going old school with this pick, by a good amount over what's taken so far. I can't find the entire scene on one video.

Watch until 4:40, then switch over to the second video.

Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

1.12 The Big Lebowski -- Over the Line!

So many classic lines in under two and a half minutes. The essence of Walter Sobchak, one of the greatest characters ever created.

As with every Walter scene, language NSFW.
