Crappy weather here in MN

    Crappy weather here in MN

    So out of curiosity today I checked the average temperature here in Mpls for the last 8 months. It goes like this:

    Month - Avg Temp
    Sept 13 62
    Oct 13 49
    Nov 13 33
    Dec 13 12
    Jan 14 8
    Feb 14 8
    Mar 14 25
    Apr 14 42

    Thats 7 months in a row where the average temp for the month is below 50. Currently this May the average is 52. We hit 70 once in April and the last time prior to that was October 11.

    Average Temp so far in May is 52.
    It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must stop it.

        Maybe its whining.......... I just know Im tired of this and how I feel the weather when I wake up each day.

          The National Weather Service reports that Tucson just finished its warmest December-February on record, beating an earlier record from winter 1980-81. Records have been kept in this city by the service since 1895.

          In that period, Tucson's average temperature hit 56.9 degrees, or .3 of a degree warmer than the previous record, the weather service says. The 2013-14 average finished 3.7 degrees above normal. It was particularly pushed up by warm days. The average high temperature for the period was 4.9 degrees above normal.

            We're going tent camping this weekend. The long weekend in May is typically the first weekend with reliably spring/summer weather.

            It's supposed to be below freezing each night. Gonna need lots of antifreeze.
            It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
