so this thread is about Toronto restaurants, not San Fran restaurants ... I know California thinks it's the centre of the universe, but seriously ...

actually, that's the knock up here in Canada against Toronto. I've tried to joke about it with my relatives from western Canada, but they can't see the humour.
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

but then you'd miss that classic arcade place!

In all of your travels are there any chains that you might actually go to if needed?

If he paid enough money, I'm sure he could add being in chains to the list of services.
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

I seek out In and Out Burger....but in terms of actual sit down, advertise on TV, chain resturants, I can't think of the last one I've been in.

EDIT: It was a Pizza Hut for a nephew's birthday

are you asking, "where do you buy spices"? We don't have a lot of "spice shops" in the Bay Area, mostly you'd go to an ethnic grocery store, ie an Indian or Bangladeshi for curry spices, mexican stores for chilies. I'm going to a Japanese store on my way home from work today because we need Tonkatsu sauce.

Wow...a Sports Bar thread where elD and I agree. Unless you get a valuable asset as part of this - the liquor license, as was noted earlier, there's no way I'd go near a restaurant as an investment.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Nah ... reminded me of a classic PapaDeuce thread ... he was contemplating opening a spice shop or something.
