  • Send in the Marines!!

    Spoiler!

Look at that cutesy face on General Joseph Dunford ... who could say no to that face? I smell a charm offensive on the horizon. Dunford will use his marine metrosexual charm to bamboozle the Afghan's into playing poodle. Bamboozle and poodle kinda rhyme ... I'm sure I coulda done more with that.

    Dunford arrives,
    with metrosexual drive,
    the intent to bamboozle,
    the Afghan's to play poodle.

Meh ... still got my day job.

    Spoiler!

The best part of that link was the last paragraph:
Since August, he has been studying the history of Afghanistan as well as the military operations since the war began in 2001, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information.

Seriously, someone's head better roll for that leak.

How can you compete with high brow journalism like that? Talk about ground breaking investigative journalism. Multiple "officials" secretly revealed (simultaneously I wonder) a completely inane piece of filler information that only served to make General Dunlop look like a complete ass. I wonder if the officials were monozygotic twins ... you know the way twins are able to finish each others sentences ... maybe one twin said "he has been studying the history of Afghanistan", then the other said, "as well as the military operations", then they both said, "since the war began in 2001" ... then they broke into song and in perfect unison sang, "but that's off the record". Also, it would be cool if they were Japanese schoolgirl twin officials.

... it took two CNN journalists to weed out that unauthorized information ... you can be sure with their obvious high levels of journalistic integrity that the anonymous sources will never be compromised.

I dunno, seems like that info could be pretty dangerous if it got in the wrong hands.
