Horse Meat Anyone?

This has been brewing for a few weeks now. A couple of weeks back, a few random tests on the % of meat in processed meat foods found that several product contained horse meat. They traced the meat back to a couple of suppliers (one Polish, one Irish). Since then, everything is being tested, and today it was revealed that a french supplier did this:

100% horse meat LOL ... and I believe this is just going to be the tip of the iceberg. New suppliers are being found every day with all sorts of crap in their meat-mush. Last week they found Halal meat served in prisons with 40% pork in it.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up processed foods ... horse meat is good.

Growing up in the sticks, I ate some weird protein, but never horse. The very idea makes me want to runnoft.
