  • JFK Assassination - November 22, 1963

It was 60 years ago today. The U.S. government as a whole has refused to confirm what numerous researchers have revealed. Although many politicians have individually expressed their doubts about the official government version of what happened.

The two people who have played the largest roles in revealing the truth IMO are Mark Lane and Oliver Stone. Lane was the lawyer/author who immediately took notice of all of the eyewitness accounts that contradicted the official version and began writing books, giving lectures, and making films on the subject before anyone else did. Without Mark Lane, dozens of authors would have never been inspired to conduct their own research into the story and publish their own work. But sadly, the book reading public is but a small segment of society. It wasn't until Oliver Stone produced the movie JFK nearly three decades later that the true story began to reach the majority of the population and inspire more research.

In 1991, Oliver Stone's film JFK renewed interest in the assassination and particularly in the still-classified files relating to the killing. In response, Congress passed the JFK Records Act, which called for the National Archives to collect and release all assassination-related documents within 25 years. The act also mandated the creation of an independent office, the Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB), to review the submitted records for completeness and continued secrecy. From 1994 until 1998, the Assassination Records Review Board gathered and unsealed about 60,000 documents comprising over 4 million pages.

I highly recommend viewing Oliver Stone's new documentary JFK: Destiny Betrayed which talks about things revealed in the documents that were declassified by the passing of the JFK Records Act. If 3.5 hours is too much for you, there is also a shortened 2 hour version called JFK Revisited: Through The Looking Glass.

If you find yourself wanting to see more, I also highly recommend viewing Nigel Turner's The Men Who Killed Kennedy. It's a nine part History Channel series (450 minutes) that resulted in the History Channel refusing to ever again air parts 7-9. Yet another example of mainstream media's complicity in the coverup. Make sure you get all 9 episodes. Ebay is the only place that will sell the banned episodes.

A few things that I believe:

    There were multiple shooters.

Eyewitnesses who contradicted the official version were intimidated into changing their testimony or they were ignored entirely by the Warren Commission. Or they died of "suicide" or an "accidental" death before they could give a sworn statement.

Oswald never fired a gun that day. He was however, a known associate of several people who were involved in the assassination.

    Someone was impersonating Oswald.

Individuals within the Central Intelligence Agency had a working relationship with the mafia and both groups were represented in Dallas that day.

LBJ had foreknowledge of the plot and participated in the coverup along with FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover who exerted great influence over Dallas law enforcement.

The autopsy was a major part of the coverup and forensic evidence was both destroyed and altered . See any one of several interviews on Youtube of reknowned forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht talking about the JFK assassination.

Jack Ruby was a known associate of the mob and also of Oswald.

I went to games in Dallas and Houston this summer and we hit the JFK museum the day we arrived in Dallas. It was surreal to stand feet from where Lee Harvey Oswald camped out for the day, and to stand in the grassy knoll and also see the spots where JFK was when the shots were fired.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht giving a speech at age 81 in 2012. Notice that he doesn't need any notes to speak at length and in detail on the subject.

Richard Belzer Discusses "Hit List," His Book on the JFK Assassination, at The National Press Club in 2013

The book is billed as an in-depth investigation into what some see as the mysterious deaths of people linked to the President John F. Kennedy assassination story. Belzer describes the assassination as the "greatest murder mystery" of all time" - linking the deaths of fifty people, including columnist Dorothy Kilgallen, U2 pilot Gary Powers and Jack Ruby, the man who killed Lee Harvey Oswald. Belzer also presents evidence supporting the theory that there were two Lee Harvey Oswalds and how his death was set in motion by the FBI, the CIA, and the Mob. Belzer insists there is a timeline and there are witnesses who have proved that Oswald never fired a shot the day the president was killed in Dallas.

"The coverup was almost bigger than the crime. People who were involved in the coverup were not involved in the murder. They covered it up out of institutional embarrassment."

Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura has also written a book about the JFK assassination. Here is his take on the subject.

Oswald didn't have time to "camp out" on the sixth floor. Most likely he wasn't there at all after lunch had begun at 12 noon.

Witnesses saw Oswald eating his lunch on the 1st floor a few minutes before the 12:30 shooting and witnesses saw him buying a bottle of Coca-Cola from the vending machine on the 2nd floor a few minutes after the shooting. The 1st floor eyewitnesses are often ignored to make the timeline more believable. It would have been very difficult to go from the 1st floor to the 6th floor, fire 3 shots in less than 10 seconds, and then run down 4 flights of stairs, all in a total of about 8 minutes and without being seen or heard on the creaky old wooden stairs. Oswald being a shooter is easier to believe if he is thought to be there for 25-30 minutes, which witnesses say is not true.

Also, consider that the motorcade was scheduled to finish in Dealey Plaza at 12:25, so they were running 5 minutes behind schedule. Oswald was seen in the 1st floor lunchroom at that time and had no way of knowing that the motorcade was running late. So, if he was planning to kill the president, he should have been in position on the 6th floor by that time.

Victoria Adams and Sandra Styles were watching the motorcade from the 4th floor and immediately went down the same stairs after the shots were fired. They say they were alone on the stairs. Styles was never asked to make an official statement (ignored). Adams made an official statement only to discover years later that her statement had been altered to say she was on the stairs 5 minutes later. Adams also received threats afterward, so she quit her job, changed her name, moved out of state, and went into hiding for the next 35 years. Her story is documented in the book The Girl On The Stairs.
