        Prague
        Edinborough
        Calgary, CA
        Chicago
        Shanghai
        Nairobi
        Barcelona
        London

Shanghai is actually the most likely for me to visit - my wife is good friends with her Chinese language teacher, who has a house on the ocean.

I'll steal these 4 from Fresno, & add Berlin.
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

            Jerusalem
            Athens
            Churchill, Canada
            Oslo
            Bordeaux

The last three are mainly areas I would like to see and I listed the largest city in the area. Does Churchill qualify as a city? Just seeing the arctic area there or else going to northern Norway/Finland would be nice.

The four places in Europe I haven't been to:

                    Madrid & Granada
                    Rome & Florence

Had two trips planned out to take them in, but never got around to it. Been pretty much everywhere of note in Western and Central Europe. Add to those:

                    Istanbul

Never been out of Europe ... that list would be too long.

I don't know enough about the cities of the world to make the best choices. But I'm thinking:

                        London
                        Paris
                        Rome
                        Florence
                        Athens

Boring list, for sure. Florence for the art and the food. Athens for philosophical reasons. Rome so I can do as the Romans do. London because I speak the language, sort of. Paris because I have read that nobody should pass from this earth before seeing Paris.

Juneau, Jason? There's not much there and not much to do. You're confined to a little 25-mile stretch of highway. You need a boat or a plane or a dog-sled team to go farther. Some people like the Alaska cruises; were you thinking about that?

Again, hard to say. Here are some:

                            - Paris
                            - Cuzco, Peru (near Macchu Piccu)
                            - Beijing (near the Great Wall)
                            - Agra, India (near the Taj Mahal)
                            - Cairo (near the pyramids)

                              Jerusalem
                              Rome
                              Athens
                              Lisbon
                              Rio de Janiero
                              Sydney
                              Cairo

I could go on and on with this list. I am hoping to go to Singapore for Chunjie holidays in February just to get away from the cold of northern China.

                              放屁

Literally means "pulling your pants down to fart" which is a Chinese idiom for "wasted effort." Makes sense to me!
