For some reason I've always had a superstition about which way I drive to work affecting the phillies games. If they go on an losing streak, I'll drive a different route hoping to change things up. As I was driving in today I got to thinking that with moving out of my house and a new road opening, I've been taking a new route most of this year. I thought next year I have to retire this route and go a different way. Then, for a brief amount of time I thought I should start a whole database of my daily activities... route driven, foods eaten, activities engaged in, work done, innings listened to on the radio, innings watched on tv, people talked to/visited etc... then after a decent number of games I could run a regression analysis on my activities verses Phillies outcomes to see which of my activities has the greatest correlation with wins.
then i realized I'm insane.
