2K12 Fall TV Line-up

Not a lot I'm excited about this season...

New Shows I'll dvr:
Elementary - Not really concerned that Watson is a chick... I'll give it a shot.
666 Park Avenue - Writer of Life on Mars and Fringe... sounds interesting
Vegas - Nice cast (Quaid, Chiklis) interesting premise, tepid reviews.
Revolution - Was curious, but just saw Eric Kripke (Supernatural) was the creator, so I'm a bit more excited now. Up against Hawaii 5-O (guilty pleasure) and Castle though, and my DVR only tapes two.
Last Resort - Andre Braugher staring, Shawn Ryan (Shield) Producing, sounds good, but it's an 8pm show so I'm keeping my expectations low.

Returning shows I'm excited about:
Fringe - Final Season!

Person of Interest - Really enjoyed this last year.
Supernatural - probably should have ended 3 seasons ago, but it continues to be fun.
Nikita - Guilty pleasure, but it's gotten better each season I think and they ended it with a nice set up for a new season.

Other shows I watch:
CSI - I really liked Ted Danson's addition last year... not so much Elisabeth Shue
Castle - Always fun
NCIS LA - Fun
Hawaii 5O - Fun
NCIS - Last season seemed down... felt like it was losing steam. Hated Jamie Lee Curtis
HIMYM - fun
Metnalist - Usually fun... kinda felt lost at times last year.
Criminal Minds - also playing itself out.
Bones - didn't like much of last season either.
SVU - Liked the new cast members last year, but they really need to go with it and jettison Mariska Hargitay. She dragged down last season.

Missing from Last year:
Prime Suspect - I knew it was cancelled early on, but along with person of interest, it was one of the best new shows last year.

Castle - Always fun

Of all those show you listed, this is the only one I've seen. It really fell apart last season and I suspect it won't be around much longer but I'll probably stick it out just because Stana Katic is so yummy. Most of the shows I watch are on cable, all via dvr.

Dramas

Breaking Bad - Awesome
Mad Men - Last season was brilliant, finally living up to the immense hype.
Game of Thrones - Finally started reading the books, about 100 pages into the 2nd one.
Dexter - Definitely looking forward to the final season.
The Walking Dead - Zombies!
Homeland - 1st season was great although I thought the ending was dumb.
The Newsroom - a couple boring episodes but I think this has potential.
Sons of Anarchy - pretty hoky but I got sucked in thru a free month of netflix.
Treme - I've only seen 1st season so I'm hoping to catch up soon. Love how integral the music is as it captures the essence of NOLA.

Comedies

The League - Hilarious, everyone on this board should be watching this one.
The Middle - Pretty hit-or-miss but the daughter and younger son are pretty funny.
True Blood - Unintentionally funny at this point, needs to be put down.

Justified and Archer would top my list of cable tv shows.
