    No luck.

    I have two more options, I think I'll see if the folks at the Apple store can fix it easily. If not I have another way to clone a hard drive through work, it takes longer than the way I did it but there are more options and I think it won't partition off the extra space.
    I'm unconsoled I'm lonely, I am so much better than I used to be.

      1. buy something like Super Duper. make a copy that is bootable. easy, but costs you about $60 (IIRC). this is what i use for my macs, but my work pays for it so i understand if you don't want to shell out the bucks for it.

      2. use rsync with the right command line switches. a bit more work. PM me.
