Just watched this documentary and it's fascinating. Can't recommend it highly enough. He was an incredibly complex, deeply flawed, and high principled person all at the same time. It's on HBO on demand now -- check it out if you can.

I enjoyed it a great deal. I thought it was disgraceful that no other player would step up and support him publicly.After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”
