Aaand we're now to the point where I have to start discovering new songs to draft. Luckily it didn't take long to get to this one which although somewhat repetitive is quite catchy and has a cool chorus:

10.10 – Worried About You (Tattoo You, 1981)
I’ve never encountered another Stones fan that thought this track was anything but filler, but dammit, I like it. Even though I usually cringe when I hear Mick Jagger singing falsetto, it kinda works for me on this track – it sets up the punchier vocals in the last half of the song nicely. Ah, well, one man’s trash… LOL
I listened to Tattoo You a lot over the weekend, and was trying to put my finger on why I like this record better than anything else since Exile. Aside from the fact that a lot of the music came from earlier sessions, I think there was a sense of sincerity in the Side Two ballads that had been missing for awhile. It sounded like they cared about the art of their music again.
And if you’re not interested in sitting through the studio version you’ve already heard, here’s a cool little rehearsal clip I found. Fun stuff…

Another one, like Rip This Joint, that has some pretty entertaining lyrics that no one knows about because they’re nearly unintelligible. I was gonna post’em, but the search filter at work flags them as pornography…

And the award for latest Stones recording goes to ME ME ME ... this is a really good tune, and they recapture the feel of 1972 nicely. Anyone (when I say anyone I mean Erik of course) know any more details about this song ... is it a redux from an old song or a bootleg?

With the release of the Exile bonus disc, this is now probably their greatest unreleased song. Recorded during the Goat's Head Soup sessions in late 1972, it is better than at least half of the tracks that made it on the album.
