Far Away Eyes was on the long list ...

    7.04 Lady Jane, Aftermath

Trivia (from wiki): The lyrics of Neil Young's 1975 song "Borrowed Tune" admit to using the melody of Lady Jane.

    I'm singin' this borrowed tune
I took from the Rolling Stones,
    Alone in this empty room
Too wasted to write my own.

Can't get shut out of Sticky Fingers.

One of their best grooves -- and no, Bill Wyman is not that funky, Mick Taylor played the bass part.

Lyrics appear to foreshadow the Patriot Act -- but they're about how Nixon used the FBI to mess with John Lennon.

An early version of "Tumbling Dice". It sounds a bit like "Tulsa Time" to me in spots.

Really nice early 60's style chorus ...

I seem to really dig the Stones' country-tinged tunes, especially when they have a hint of humor like this one:

                              8.08 - "Dear Doctor" (Beggars Banquet, 1968)

Sticky Fingers is probably my favorite Stones album, but I like Exile as well. It has so many good songs. Maybe not the killer tracks, but top to bottom an outstanding album.

There are still several very good ones left, but I like this one (and I think ZZ Top did too). One of the best Stones covers:

8.09 Shake Your Hips (Exile on Main Street, 1972)
