How could I have forgotten Field of Dreams and The Untouchables!? And also Silverado, which I thought was a great Western. He also did No Way Out, to which Johnnya24 refers.

and John Doe is way cooler than that
Here is some legit emotion from his singing.

For me, Costner is a less-odious version of Tom Cruise. I can't really stand Tom Cruise, but he has been in many movies I enjoy. In fact, with only a few exceptions (Vanilla Sky, Cocktail, Eyes Wide Shut) I can pretty much count on enjoying a Tom Cruise flick. So, even though I don't like him, I have Goldmember, Collateral, The Last Samurai, Minority Report, Rainman, Tropic Thunder and War of the Worlds in my DVD rack, which is a lot for one actor. Of Costner's films, I own A Perfect World, Dances with Wolves, The Postman, Waterworld, Fandango, Bull Durham, Robin Hood, Open Range, No Way Out, Wyatt Earp, Field of Dreams and The Untouchables, another big pile for one actor.

Goodfellas is one of my favs. Maybe I have hidden resentments at Wolves for beating out Goodfellas?

                • Let's not forget "For Love of the Game". If you filter out all the chick flick parts, it was a good baseball movie.

I give Costner a lot of credit for being in some of the best baseball films of all time..."Bull Durham", "Field of Dreams", and "For Love of the Game" is a pretty impressive trio.

I like some of the Tom Cruise films, but I don't see him on the level of Costner partly because Costner is more involved with all aspects of film-making. And I think he'd be more fun to have a beer with.

Goodfellas and Casino are two of the top 5 mob movies ever made (with Godfather I and II, and Scarface being the other 3)

You are wrong he did a great job on this song. Great contrast to Whitney. Made the movie.

On the other hand THANK YOU!!! I enjoyed hearing John Doe X and will be adding to my music list.

I like it. Starts out like The Band then goes to mid 1960's sound. Then goes back and forth.
