  • Liz hurley fantasy Aussie rules league.

    Ok so who's interested?

Whole idea is a salary cap based pick - not a draft.

We can all have the same players if we want. The better the player, the more expensive they are. The salary cap will restrict you from picking all stars in your team.

There is a very comprehensive run down on scoring etc on the site.

    supercoach.com.au is the startup site

Liz Hurley's AFL is the league - league ID is 254022

No pressure at all but thought it would be good for a laugh for some of you And abit of a pay back for me!!!

League has 18 spaces. First in best dressed. register your team and select your players. Happy to answer questions if people need help.

I don't think Aussie football has been televised in the US since the '80s, when the fledgling ESPN needed to fill airtime. So not only do we not know any players, we don't really know the rules either.

Eh..one year a bunch of us signed up for an ESPN Fantasy Fishing league. Other than "catch a lot of fish", I don't know the rules of fishing either.
I'll play Fantay Aussie football if a few others will join up.

in! I couldn't design a shirt nearly as hideous as any of the actual team shirts though.

Done. Constructed a Vintage Draft Letters team. There are no players with names that begin with Q or X in the league.

                    A few things I learned:

Greater Western Sydney had the top 5 picks in the 2011 AFL Draft.

The top player selected in the 2011 AFL draft (Jonathan Patton) is being treated in Sweden for "jumper's knee" and will miss at least the first five "rounds" of the 2012 season.

Before the AFL draft is held, teams can select kids of players that use to play for them under the Father-Son Rule.

Since being drafted with the 41st pick in the 2000 draft, Andrew Krakouer has spent a good bit of time in jail for assault and intent to cause grievous bodily harm. While there Krakouer played for the Wooroloo Prison team.

Done. Just picked guys with cool names.

                      A few things I learned:
                      Stock up on ruckers.

                        sorry been busy with work.

Deadline is not for another 3 weeks or so (I think).

Its good to stock up with some expensive players and some cheap options. I thought you guys got more coverage than it appears you do, so I'll understand if you don't want to dive on in.

try afl.com.au for some information on players and those that are injured.

or fanfooty.com.au for selected teams. Best to check wed your time which is thursday our time (Teams are named Thursday night) or Thursday (for friday our time).

Hit me up with an email ([email protected]) if you want some help - probably abit easier for me to access it from work that way.

                          Bump

SDS - you need to finish your team. It won't save you to the league till you have finished your team.

Still room for 14 more takers.

C'mon all - challenge the Aussie who beat you at your game!!!!
