Frank Ocean's - Channel Orange is coming top of many of the best of 2012 lists. The album tracks are by far the best part of this record ... the lyrics are great, but most parts are a bit too neo-soul for my liking. Also noteworthy, one of the only openly gay R&B / Hip Hop artists, and a lot of the songs explicitly relate to this ... which I guess explains sales of only 300K? Lot's of over the top hyperbole from the critics, and outright hate on the messageboards ... but a good record.
