  • Great play heye! Loved that action.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

You're on a rush of cards, I can't imagine either will have a better hand. they just saw your set. You probably get no action. Though watch for a 3 bet from the BB and if he does-- shove. He's got squat.

Wait that was Heye. What'd you raise? Still they play is the same I'm hoping you raise at least .5 times the bet

      That'd be 2.5 times lol

you have what 20 BBs now? you're in ok shape, still be aggressive with top end hands till you can grow your stack and then you can get tricky, but right now it still seems you're in a place where you have to fold or raise big/3bet all in. GL to you both!

          • May not be a great play, but honestly Im tiring of monitoring the email and Im on "Picky". Any way have 80k blinds 2k/4/ w $600 antes. So there is almost 12k in to start. I got dealt 10/10 under the gun and pushed......

Im all in and waiting to see if I get a call.

So the guy behind me pushed all-in after me - I figured that was a bad deal for me. He calls with A2 suited. No A hits and I double up. Now Im sitting just under at 170k.

Pretty weird to see someone push after me with A2. His play was way worse than mine.

                  Matthew Joseff calls

Wait, what? Does he have AQ here? That seems like the only thing that makes sense... or else he's just thinking I'm playing an A or something... Do I give him credit for AQ?

Eventually I decided I needed to see I was beat.

                  Heyelander calls

                  Flopped card: Jd

! Hand over, current board is: 7s 10d 5h Qc Jd

That Jack would have sucked if he was playing AK.

Up to just under $400000 now.

Could maybe have bet a bit more on a the flop ... was a weak looking bet. Big stacks gobble up the little ones at this stage.

                        • another lucky hand... did I let him off too light on the last bet? On the Turn as well? What's a proper value bet at the end? Conversely, he messed up not raising me either pre or post flop.

If he had raised me pre-flop to 3x the blind, do I play it with J10 suited? I think I would have. If he had raised me a good bit after the flop I would have mucked though.

Nah, I think you did fine. His calls were pretty bad, though. If he believed the low flop missed you, he should have jammed on the flop.

I think you did fine. You probably got paid about as much as you could have. You might have gotten more if you could have put him on a strong Ace, but it's tough to put him on AQ when he's betting so weakly.

With your stack, I would have called a 3x raise to see a flop with that hand. Look at you now, you're a menace!
