I tried to start from the beginning and actually didn't like it very much at all. I stopped watching the DVDs, but I now watch the new ones for the last two years. I find DeVito superfluous, but sometimes he busts out a great line. If he weren't on the show, it wouldn't bother me much. It looks like some of these other endorsements are much stronger, but coming from someone more on your side of aisle, I'd stay stick around.

    • I'm pretty upset about Community's forced hiatus that is set to start soon. It's such a brilliant piece of television that I'm not even sure how it's on network TV, but I guess that explains why they're forcing it to the shelf and letting the painfully unfunny Whitney stick around. That no-talent hack is actually polluting two networks as she created 2 Broke Girls, too. I don't find 2BG nearly as objectionable, it's just not funny... Whitney is easily one of the worst sitcoms I have ever watched in my life and I've seen plenty of drek. Oh well. At least Parks & Recreation is still going strong and 30 Rock will be back soon.

      • Haven't seen an actress with the depth, chops and timing of Whitney since Megan Fox in...well, fricken anything

        That show Whitney is unwatchable...

Still watching it and still liking it. That was a ballsy ending, I'll give them that. There are a lot of irate fans right now - hopefully the show doesn't suffer in the ratings because it didn't chicken out.

I'm completely with you guys as far as Whitney goes. I'm shocked that it's even still on the air.

In this day and age, I think Community is more of an anomaly than Whitney when it comes to network TV. People who are looking for quality will go anywhere to find it, and there are a hell of a lot of channels now. People who just want to turn off their brains at the end of the day just flip on the major networks and don't look anywhere else.

              • Of course, I say this without having ever watched a second of Whitney. The promos looked unbearable.

Man, I love that show! The supporting cast is poor, but I really like the two main characters. Having said that, most of the rest of the world agrees with you.

                    Just watched it. Definitely shocking.

Not seeing how this is going much further. Reminds me of how they tried to wrap up Carnivale as neat as they could because they knew it wasn't going to have a full run.

Empire has been renewed for at least one more season, and I read last night that next season will be 1 1/2 yrs later (in 1923) and start to emphasize the Al Capone angle a bit more (hence Van Alden's move to Illinois).

                            • It would have been cool to watch the last two episodes of Boardwalk back-to-back.

I still don't fully get what was going on there at the end with Nucky and Darmaty. It doesn't make sense. Too many possible spoilers to say anymore.

                              • I just want to say again how much I love Homeland. It has been great.

Just started watching Game of Thrones as I finally got HBO back. The production value is great and I am enjoying the story. I even ordered the first book to read.

Did anyone watch Luck on HBO? There was a sneak preview Sunday that I DVR'ed but have yet to watch. Looks interesting.

Should be less than a month until Justified is back too!
