there is something squirmy and uncomfortable about this show written/produced/directed by Pamela Adlon and Louis CK - I am not sure if the dialog is too real or too hyperbolic or both
admittedly I find Ms. Adlon hot

upcoming season of House of Cards will be the last.
‘House of Cards’ creators announce series will end amid Kevin Spacey allegationsIt certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

Two Netflix shows worth mentioning both have hunter in the title. I just started watching Mindhunter, and while I don't claim it is world-changing stuff, the performance by the actor playing Ed Kempur was really top notch. Good series so far.
Another Netflix original I really enjoyed was Trollhunters. Looking forward to season two; I'm not sure how the show will manage beyond that though. Yelchin was so perfect in the role as lead voice actor.

Binge watched Season 2 of Stranger Things on Saturday. Enjoyed it.
Started watching Mindhunter. Like it so far.
Watching 'Chance' on Netflix. Pretty good.
Star Trek: Discovery isn't bad if you really like the franchise and are jonesing. Check and check. Plus, the lead role is the badass sniper from The Walking Dead.If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. - Karl Popper

Also went through Mindhunter. (The office shut down for a couple of days due to data issues and a legal holiday in Germany, believe it or not.) Another definite recommend. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. - Karl Popper

They seemed to get better as they went, a vast improvement over the first couple of shows, with the weaker characters taking a back seat and some stronger new characters emerging. I'm up to a definite recommend.

One feature is that you can watch every Star Trek show ever broadcast: Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. That probably doesn't appeal to most, but sometimes there just isn't anything on. Or sometimes I just need to see "The Inner Light".If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. - Karl Popper
