I tried the T-Mobile internet in my house, but it was a no-go. My cell service is 2-bars even in the spots of my house and I couldn't get enough consistency during the trial to stick with it. I'm paying $100 a month for 2GB Google Fiber now and it's worth every penny.

Even with paying for1gig mpbs, it gets so degraded going to wifi, that many times we get under 10 mpbs just 100 feet or so from the router. And I need extenders all throughout the house. My kids constantly complain about the speed and getting lagged out of their games. I would love to make the switch.
I guess I have a smaller footprint than you so it works just fine with my Google Nest spreading the signal throughout. I have a half basement and it usually works down there, but we hardly use any wifi down there, so I can't say if it's reliable. My app says it's running at 295 Mbps right now and most of the time it's good enough for whatever we use. I don't know if it'll work for your needs but cable had regular outages every week, sometimes every day.

I went to a T-Mobile and the rep was pretty honest with me, saying that in a house with 3 kids constantly gaming and 3 others constantly streaming, it probably wouldn't be a good option yet. He said average speed is anywhere from 70 mbps to 300 mbps, which sounds fine. I'll take another look at it again soon.

I've been waiting several years for T-Mobile to offer internet service in my small western PA town with a population of slightly under 2,000. I'm stuck with paying twice the price for Xfinity cable for now. It is pretty reliable though. But, I don't use it for gaming or streaming. Just internet surfing.

            I still have cable....

I've been pushing to get rid of it for a while. As with several others, Bravo is a sticking point for RJEL wife. Hulu has a good bit of it, but apparently they are getting rid of some older seasons of things and this is cause for concern in the Bravoverse. I asked jen if she really returns to reminisce with the New Jersey Housewives season 1, and she told me not to give her shit. She also said she would miss falling asleep to law and order on whatever random channel is streaming it now. I'm pretty sure she could find it somewhere.

Regardless, I think I can get over those hurdles. The final sticking point she brought up was playoff baseball. Is there a place you can get playoff baseball on Fox once games go national?

I'm sure others will chime in with baseball help, but on the Bravoverse and L and O, my wife was very much the same way. She didn't want to give up a couple of key channels, and Bravo and police procedurals were high on her list. Despite us having steamers that have libraries of shows she likes, she still prefers that old way of just watching whatever episode of whatever show happens to be on for some reason, but Sling is very much like cable and there are several channels that play stuff like L and O all day. Sling, at least, does have Bravo as well. I don't really watch that app, but we ended up with it because of Bravo, Food Network, Lifetime, Hallmark. It checked all of the boxes needed for her to make the switch and even has a few new ones that let her watch old school shows from the 50s-90s.

I don't know what random channel showed up recently, but wife has been watching all 8 seasons of Quincy. Cripes, I think it was a forward thinking show at the time, but the misogyny is so cringeworthy. There was also an episode where Punk Rock killed someone.
