all of it, but mostly the acres of toiletries. That's borderline hoarding. $20 today is worth a whole lot of shampoo in the future. Teach her to horde appreciating assets!

I'd sell all the sports stuff too, because I think we are much much closer to the top of the market for any of that old timey sports stuff than the bottom, but hey, that's me. I try to collect nothing other than net worth! For all the wine I drink, I very rarely have more than 50 bottles at home, and that's the only thing I "collect/horde".

2 years ago, my office pool hit for $50,000 in the lottery. We ended up getting about $1,000 each after taxes, so I am always in lotto pools now.

She does sell some to her friends, but certainly not enough.

I'm all about increasing net worth these days -- and the vast majority of the sports memorabilia and comics were bought 10-15 years ago.

My old answer would be cigarettes, but not any more.

I spend very little on myself, hell, I think Costco covers 90% of my annual clothing budget. Craft beer would be it now.

I spend very little on myself as well.
But if there is a game on Steam that has a neat trailer and is heavily discounted, I'll buy it and likely never play it. I probably spend $20 a month on games I'll never play.

Like the Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition which is currently 20 bucks ... which I'm contemplating buying ... and which I'll probably never playthrough.

Or like Divinity Original Sin 2 which I bought last month ... And will probably never playthrough.

Been here ... Done this ... A lot.

I am not a game player, but I have been a collector of different things over the years. Is this a collector thing or something else?

No ... these are very good well reviewed games. Steam (the software platform where people buy games online) sales are sometimes too good to ignore.

So lots of people pick up games on sale ... but never find the time to play them.

I have put several thousand hours in many games over the years. There just aren't enough hours in the day

Yeah, I used to do the Steam sale thing a lot. I own so many games I've never played. I've broken the habit and then you evil guys tell me about cheap Fallout...

If time is money, then it is certainly gaming... otherwise, eating out I guess? I don't spend a whole lot of money on myself otherwise.

Actually, it's probably that I bought a 5 bedroom 3 car garage house for 2 people... who have never had kids... and one of which hates to entertain.
I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert...

And just like that Cuphead goes on sale. My son would actually play that, and we just got him a modest gaming desktop for his birthday with my fantasy baseball winnings...

My monthly RJ dues. I can't believe how much they went up while I was gone.

We had to repair all the otter damage.
