    Dorothy's Red Slippers FOUND

    For those who didnt know - one of the original pairs of Ruby Slippers was stolen about 13 years ago from the Judy Garland Museum.

    Well they have been found and are apparently in very good condition.

    I remember when MGM had their big auction. The Ruby slippers went for a mere $15,000. The scale model house, used in the tornado scene is now in a Wizard of Oz museum in western Kansas. Both are worth easily 10 times the original price.

      This is one of 4 pair used in the movie.

      Her dress went for $1.565M in 2015.
