I thought about tossing in one of the performances from "Concert for George". Petty and the band did "Taxman" and "I Need You", and then shared "Handle With Care" with Jeff Lynne. The entire concert was top drawer, imo, and Petty's numbers were strong ones.

Petty was also stellar at the Bob Dylan 30th anniversary concert - License to Kill and Rainy Day Women with the Heartbreakers, and a major contributor to the finale of My Back Pages and Knockin on Heavens Door.

I went through this thread again today while watching the Live from Gatorville concert.

When my cousin got married, Walls (Circus) was his first dance with his bride. This was in 1997.

Really? People don't usually turn to songs of soul-crushing post-divorce sadness for such occasions. LOL

Update: They got divorced this year.
