I can't stand either. I think Clinton and both of those men would have spent 90 minutes agreeing on practically everything. Professional politicians with empty, poll tested platitudes need to be phased out. They are literally hoodwinking the public with shiny lures while Rome burns. Now that's not to say that Trump isn't using retail sales tactics with MAGA because he is, but he is far more forthright than your professional politician. Trump, warts and all, is preferable to a predictable politician IMHO.

      • There just might be enough uneducated angry white men to elect Trump, but that is something to be embarrassed about as a rationale person.

You can point out how 1 candidate is deeply qualified, while other lacks any experience in the slightest. You can point out that out of the 5 living presidents, and the entirety of the Fortune 100 CEO's, not a single one endorses Trump. You can point out that out of the hundreds of daily newspapers in the country, many are conservative, not a one has endorsed Trump, and that includes some papers that are well over 100 years old and are endorsing a Democrat for the first time, or in case of the Atlantic which in 140 some years, is making only its 3rd endorsement ever, 1st being Abe Lincoln. You can sit back and watch on youtube how some great minds such as Sam Harris artfully eviscerate Trump in a near 15 minute roast, including a spot on voice impersonation that makes so clear the absurdity or a Trump presidency. Stephen Hawking said of Trump, "He is a demagogue, who seems to appeal to the lowest common denominator". You can go on but to what end, the bright side is there is unanimous support for Trump among white power/pride groups.

I have family that is faculty at ivy league schools and among those with PhDs you just cannot find a Trump supporter, rather you get degrees of how vile a person he is, and to what extent he can destroy cause harm, but never mind that demographic.

If you are one who is at all insulted by someone lying to your face, you can easily take a moment and fact check any Trump speech and verify he lies at an unprecedented rate, but more concerning is it is not from a master plan of genius, rather he is simply so stupid he cannot track what he said an hour before, and does not have any firm beliefs of his own so Trump constantly gets virtually every substantial statement wrong, but counters his own statements constantly. You could literally pick a random person from phone book, and with that blind gamble have a better shot of having a better person for the office.

those that are planning on voting for trump see most of these two paragraphs as a feature, not a bug. shame shame shame on those of you that consider yourself intelligent, yet you are still going to vote for Trump

Those are actually logical reasons to vote for Trump. Lackluster puppet presidents, corporate America and the crooked 4th estate are all aligned against Trump. You couldn't write a more riveting script.

Not many times on this planet are you afforded the opportunity to gravely injure the kingmakers. We may not be able to vote our way to freedom and prosperity in this backwards land, but at least we can punish the parasites. The oligarchy wouldn't listen after repeated warnings, so now they must endure Trump. When the social contract is perverted in such a grotesque fashion, unexpected events like Trump occur.

Just because everyone one you hate hates him, doesn't mean you should like him. The enemy of your enemy is not always your friend. And they may have to endure Trump, but the king makers, as you call them, WILL endure him, and still be there when he is gone. I'm not sure all of the rest of us can and will endure him, if he were to be elected. You are so convinced this devil must be better than the ones you know. But I see him as a frightening hate-monger who, in the worst case, may significantly hurt our economy, and/or set back civil discourse and rights decades, and/or start WWIII.

The two party duopoly has run the country into the ground for their own benefit. They and their so-called intelligentsia have been completely discredited. See the Iraq War, TARP and Obamacare specifically. Time after time, the general population suffers the brunt of these policy disasters, while the clever architects walk away unscathed. At some point, Charlie Brown stops lining up to kick the field goal, because he knows Lucy can't be trusted. In an insane world, a vote for Trump is actually a sane choice. He can't do any worse than his predecessors.

After JFK died, we entered a frightful place affecting nearly every facet of American life. Pre-JFK, Trump would be a nonstarter IMHO.
