We had an earthquake in Oklahoma this morning. It was the first one I ever remember actually feeling. Strange sensation.

I've felt four. Three here in Toronto, and a 6.3 aftershock in Mexico (I was there for the main 7.1 earthquake, but had been drinking and couldn't feel it - how bad is that!).
The local ones were all in the 4's... Nothing major but enough to feel. One of them though was on day one of the G8 conference which was held here in Toronto years ago, so everyone's first thought was an explosion. High drama for a while.It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.Comment

yup, when I was about 20 and living just north of NYC, there was a rare earthquake and I literally fell out of bed and onto the floor. I thought at first that a big truck had slammed into the house - which didn't make sense logistically.
my twin brother, who had been out boozing and got home an hour before it hit, slept right through it.
