    MASH went downhill after he and Henry left.

      I thought it still hung on until Frank Burns left. Show never was as funny when they brought in Winchester.
      Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

        I don't think the show was suppose to be as funny after Trapper and Henry left.

        While MASH was pissed at McLean Stephenson for a contract issues, they made a statement about war when they killed of his character. I think the producers realized they had a sho that could be grounded in comedy, but still turn serious and people would accept it.

        I love MASH, but i have a hard time watching the first couple season, as I never thought the characters developed like they did after those two left.

        i have epiphanies like that all the time. for example i was watching a basketball game today and realized pom poms are like a pair of tits. there's 2 of them. they're round. they shake. women play with them. thus instead of having two, cheerleaders have four boobs.
        - nullnor, speaking on immigration law in AZ.
