If I had 1.1 my pick would have been Hey Jude. So I'll settle for the song that more than any other marked their arrival as "artists." And which I took in the Desert Island Draft.

'Twas a virtual coin flip between this and one of their artsy psychedelic juggernauts. Thing is, there are quite a few artsy psychedelic juggernauts in their catalog to choose from, and not too many genuinely soulful guitar rock classics. And so, scarcity decides it...

I never really loved this song until I heard the Fab Faux perform it about 10 years ago -- it was only then I realized how much I appreciated it. Since then it's become my most played Beatles tune.

Tough choice. There are a lot of personal favorites out there (and Tomorrow Never Knows has been taken). But it seemed that LIB deserved to go in the top ten, and I wasn't sure the remaining drafters would put it there.

The album Help was the first rock album to ever make it into the house while I was growing up. My parents did/do not listen to rock but rather classical, opera, folk, musicals and NPR. My brothers are younger than me and we listened to top 40 radio while my mom complained and told us that we were rotting our brains,
Help was given to me as a birthday present from a friend (he didnt listen to rock but heard that this album was popular). I sat in the basement listening to it over and over

I believe this is still the best selling single from the Beatles (worldwide)

And it is the song that started the British invasion in the US.

From the first time I heard it, it has been my favorite Beatles song.

I would venture to say that this song is the one Beatles song that I have listened to the most. Probably because it's so short!
