So Biden decides not to run for fear of the HRC "at all costs strategy" and not wanting them to do the deep dive into him. The DNC screwed Bernie, had an option in Biden that may have been more palatable to the Berner's and still they ended up with HRC. It kind of speaks to how owned the system was.

Not sure I would vote Biden now - especially when he voices concerns about what the deep diving may have uncovered. Of course George Clooney is already "Im with Him".......

If Biden is the next candidate - he could lose because he isnt a fresh face and still a Dem "insider".

I like Biden and I think his direct, no frills language would do well head to head with Trump. He is much better at speaking to the sort of voters HRC failed to reach. But I'm hesitant to support Biden simply because I fear the general population might think he is too old. I have the same fears about Sanders--more so, because he is a bit older and doesn't have the same look of fitness and vitality as Biden. I fear a lot of folks will look at life expectancy rates in the US and see these guys as too close to the end. In reality, a male who lives to be 65 has a life expectancy of 84.3 years, so both candidates potentially have a lot of road left in front of them. Still, I'm so desperate for the Dems to run someone who is a 100% slam dunk mortal lock to get Trump out of office, any potential flaws in a candidate scare me.

Hell, let's get a pair of 90 year olds in there. They can run a John Conyers/Louise Slaughter ticket. If 70 year olds can star in action movies, I guess 90 year olds can be president. I'm sure Paul Ryan would support the ticket. It'd give him a pretty good shot at becoming president at some point, if he is still Speaker by then.

still to early to visit this choice so far - but Biden does seem like a good call but he is pretty damn old - he still a pretty mainstream white male democrat

there are others out there today depends on how not minority perception the Dems feel that they need to go to win

One thing I like about Biden was that he used the phrase "bunch of malarkey" in his DNC speech. Bunch of malarkey is a criminally underused phrase.
