is cell phones. because I thought that once massive amounts of information being shared would be a good thing someday. and it has.
but.. staring at a phone screen and seeing ppl are different. I thought that with more information empathy would increase. and I mean it does sometimes. at least for us it does because we are old, and we existed before social networks did. I mean, sure, we are adapting.
but I look around and what I thought would help ppl seems to be inhibiting them instead. and it scares me.
one of my greatest fears is what HG Wells said.
instead of more information turning into action, it's turning into voyeurism. (make sure you learn the difference). because im not sure the world does. when i see everyone staring at their phones.
although i suppose it's good for attention deficit disorder. i taught myself today that, it makes ppl quick on their feat but somewhat unteachable.
