Windell D. Middlebrooks -- the actor best known for playing the straight-talking Miller High Life delivery man -- died suddenly at his home ... TMZ has learned.

He was only 36. I liked those commercials.

didn't he play 3b for the red sox too?

It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
