I know some of you have blogs. Can you give an old man a clue how to start one?

I've used Blogger/Blogspot and it's very simple. Wordpress can get a little more complicated in my experience but that just might be more of how I had to use it.

Wordpress will impress. Let me express that you need suppress your desire to depress the button for any other choice.

                stop pressing.
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

It's moot. The wife is worried I'll embarrass the family. I explained that maybe two people would read it, but some of you are married, so you understand.

What I have learned about getting old is that you don't become stoic. You just recognize probable defeat and shuffle on.

I don't think the literary world will suffer from my failure to launch.

Ask her to be your editor.

I would be interested in giving it a read.

Easiest fix EVER. Just don't tell her. Sheesh.

interesting idea. or for every blogpost of yours give her the option to post something of her own ... a sort of point-counterpoint ... just don't start yours with "Jane, you ignorant ..."

                          Try Weebly.com

They have millions of bloggers. Some pay for advanced services, and some use the free services. It was the only service that I could figure out how to use on my own.... I started out free, but then moved into paid.

That's what journals are for then... Then you can publish the whole thing when you are 90.

Not my experience. Our sites get about 20k pageviews monthly.
