whats up with this? came across some videos is this a show? how is this guy doing this?

im not a big fan of lions. even tho I have a 30 year old lion tattoo. they kill their young, they attack baby elephants.

I once made friends with 5 crows. I fed them at a gas station for like 2 years. after I left they got the person that replaced e to feed them. she died of a brain tumor, and shortly after mobile tore the station down. it's easy to talk to crows; or big birds. bobbing your head up and down tells them everything is ok. looking at things with one eye is like pointing to something. put that together and you almost have a sentence. look at them or an item and bop up and down and and it's okey dokey.

so how does this work with lions? this guy obviously found their language and put a sentence together? I would only think this sort of thing can be down with lions that you partially raised. but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Felines have to be the last apex predator that hunted us
"You know what's wrong with America? If I lovingly tongue a woman's nipple in a movie, it gets an "NC-17" rating, if I chop it off with a machete, it's an "R". That's what's wrong with America, man...."--Dennis Hopper

I also think we have an innate fear of sharks from when we were dolphinpigs in the ocean

Buffalo and lion endure epic hour-long fight

        http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti..._campaign=1490
Mr Armstrong added: 'I have never seen anything like that before. Usually when lion hunt buffalo it is as a pride - it is hardly ever alone.

'The fact that the lion was familiar to us and we had seen him in his prime made it very emotional to see him in the state he was in. By the end of the fight everyone was exhausted.'
ok so my heart went out to this lion. for such a creature to live only 6 years, it doesn't seem right. I don't like it when they kill a you hippo that slept too long near the pond and didn't notice the herd leave. that was an epic battle. that hippo held off two male lions for a long time. and I don't like cub killers. but 6 years just isn't right.

here's a twist for you. dolphins will defend their short term territory vs a shark. depending on how many other dolphins are around and what type of shark it is. now, if you happen in the area you might think they are defending you. dolphins are a lot like humans, the situation really dictates the response.

and they really do defend humans vs sharks. in fact, they try to say, SHARK. they actually think they can tell us, dude there is a shark right there about to bite you. can't you see it?? but it's not like they will drive it off unless it's three of them together. and in rare circumstances vs a great white, they might even make you the most vulnerable in order to save themselves. long distance swimmers that have a great white underneath trying to figure out if your a meal or not, with dolphins swimming around you. that's hard to figure out. it's really up to the shark.

the dolphins are more or less trying to tell the shark it's a human.

The girl who gets gifts from birds
Lots of people give food to the birds in their garden and get nothing in return - but when one girl feeds the crows outside her house, they show their affection with tiny presents.

it's a pretty popular article this week.

I didn't mention, one of the crows I fed for 2 years landed on the canopy one day when one of the mechanics was by the register where I ws. so I said watch this. thru the window about 40 yards awy I did my head dance and looked at him. then the crow did the same thing back to me. they liked to make fun of me. but this guy took it back and was like, I saw nullnor do something with the crows and the crow replied back to him.

the ppl I worked with were kind of douchebags, but that's something that guy will ever forget. that crow had gotten kicked out from his crew and replaced by a baby in the 5 man crew. im not sure I ever saw it again. he was looking pretty ragged. I didn't feed him that day ether. I didn't want to make it look like he was only there for food. even tho obviously he was.

so ya, crows will communicate with you if you feed them for years. they never did leave me any presents. so im sort of jealous. I guess it depends on the environment.
Lisa, Gabi's mom, regularly photographs the crows and charts their behaviour and interactions. Her most amazing gift came just a few weeks ago, when she lost a lens cap in a nearby alley while photographing a bald eagle as it circled over the neighbourhood. She didn't even have to look for it. It was sitting on the edge of the birdbath.

Had the crows returned it? Lisa logged on to her computer and pulled up their bird-cam. There was the crow she suspected. "You can see it bringing it into the yard. Walks it to the birdbath and actually spends time rinsing this lens cap."
that's actually pretty interesting. it means they lose things and have it returned to them too.

I think it's really because the girl is a baby. animals understand these things. I remember walking a dog once seeing kids get off a bus. and the dog was like omg a litter of human puppies. would birds bring presents to an adult feeding them? no. would they bring them to a child doing it, yes. but it depends on the environment and situation. I only fed 5 of them over a long time. this case looks like the birds were in competition with each other. and then one of them decided to leave a tool for a reward.

too bad I didn't have a camera 20 years ago.

crows do you see you as individuals. which means even more intelligent animals do too. and these animals, if they are smart enough, they don't hold what we do collectively against us.
