    Your Favorite Christmas Songs

    I'll start with one i just recently found even though it's now four years old. Not bad for a band with no record label.

            Mine and Johnny's:

            Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

                  My favourites are drawn from classics and modern remakes:

                  Savage Garden - Last Christmas (Jimmy Eat World and WHAM are good too)
                  Brenda Lee - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
                  Harry Connick Jr - Santa Claus
                  John Denver and the Muppets - 12 Days of Christmas
                  Elvis - Blue Christmas
                  Eurythmics - Winder Wonderland
                  Bing Crosby - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
                  RUN DMC - Christmas In Hollis
                  The Darkness - Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)

                  and for my video contribution...looks better and sounds worse than the 1990s version.

                      The neo-swing bands (Brian Setzer Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Royal Crown Revue and Squirrel Nut Zippers) all have great Christmas records.

                      Royal Crown Revue and it's great frontman, Eddie Nichols, doing "Hey Santa"

                      "And, old St Nick, if you touch my chick, those reindeer gonna fly home alone..."



                      And Brian Setzer doing "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus"

                      Setzer does an annual Christmas tour. It's amazing!

                        I did not know he did a Christmas tour. Thanks!

                        Unfortunately, he was in nearby cities 11/15-11/19 and won't be back this year. I hope to see him next year.
