Is anyone watching the proceedings? I am blown away with each new piece of evidence introduced. This was one of the blackest days in our country's history. Just unreal.

I agree I didn't know how close this was to being an epic disaster for our country. I knew it was bad,, but JFC--someone needs to be held accountable and this GOP indifference can never be forgotten.
If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

Amen to this. GOP is being amazingly - astonishingly - short sighted.

Donald Trump at 2:24 PM EST: "Mike Pence didn't have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!"

Previously unseen video today taking place at 2:26 PM EST where Mike Pence and his family (!!!) are being quickly ushered out of the building by security as the insurrectionists ransack the building and are chanting "Hang Mike Pence!"

          I mean, wow.

Are they really not airing this? Then WTF do they show? It’s like they whitewashed the last 4 years.

Dems showed footage of one of the terrorists literally reading Trump's tweet attacking Pence aloud as the guy stormed the capitol. So, case closed, right? Right.

Has there ever been a person thrown under the bus worse than Pence? I mean, Pence certainly did his share to promote the Big Lie, but he did his job and was scapegoated by the motherf'er and his minions.

It's not Trump's fault he was misunderstood... i mean there are 4 years worth of twitter proof that what he says/writes is mostly incomprehensible.

It's ironic that the guy who helped enable Trump ends up having his Presidential dreams destroyed by Trump.

Trump destroyed a lot of things, but Mike Pence's chances of being president went for 0 to 0 by him hitching his wagon to the fascist-in-chief. Maybe he did have dreams, though. Maybe he still does. But Mike Pence's only shot of being POTUS was for him to spike Trump's Big Mac or Diet Coke.

So just pretend Biden fucks everything up. If pence has zero chance who does have a chance? Onejay? Cotton? Hawley? Tucker Carlson? DJT dos?

Biden better step up is my takeaway

Given the Republican fascination with vapid, racist celebrities I'd guess that Tucker Carlson stands a pretty good chance. Ugh, I need to take a shower after just thinking that sentence.

Thinking about it makes me wonder why the dems are dicking around with means testing instead of writing checks.
